To me this is an alogic, something that at first looking at it, seems to have no logic, but it does. This drawing contains the expression of life. It’s colors, it’s shapes, it expresses LIFE.

I am a student at San Francisco State University. I am part of the Raza class given by a wonderful woman artist and professor, Maris Bustamante. As part of my final project I have chosen to present part of an art diary of an amazing artist and dear friend, Melissa Granillo. Melissa's art came to be during a transition and crucial moment in her life. Most of the art that I will show is being created in a period of silence, meditation/contemplation.
